Policies and Procedures

OFFICE HOURS:    We are available from Monday through Saturday, by appointment only.    

On APRIL 15th at 8 PM, we SHUTDOWN completely until the first Monday in May, when we re-open.

​

There is a $25 charge for all MISSED APPOINTMENTS without a one-hour notice.  

​

TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS: We are always happy to answer any questions you may have within our field of expertise.  

​

ADDITIONAL SERVICES – THIRD PARTY CONSULTATIONS:    If you need your tax returns explained to a third party, like a mortgage lender, You MUST provide us with the name, company name, and phone number of that party in advance.  We can not and will not speak to ANYONE, including the IRS, about your account unless we have your permission, Power of Attorney, or- a subpoena!

 

SPEED OF PROCESSING: We can return your finished project to you within three days after you provide us with all of the information we need.  All projects are delivered COD by appointment.

 

WORKSHEETS  We all have things slip our minds.  Our practice will provide you with HELP SHEETS and telephone support to facilitate your information gathering.  If you do remember something we have not discussed, please call the office as soon as possible.  If the information is critical, it will delay picking up your project by 1 working day while we do a reprocess and reprint.  There is no charge for one additional reprocess and reprint.

 

LATE FEES: All projects are expected to be picked up within 7 days (one week) of completion.  There will be a late fee of $5 per day assessed for each and every day from the 8th day after completion until and including the day the project is picked up.  All discounts will be denied on any project not picked up within 7 days of completion.

 

CHECK POLICY: We happily accept checks.    We do not accept post-dated checks.  If a check is returned to us, there will be a $35 fee assessed and  we will be unable to allow any fee discount on the project and must have all fees and bank charges paid in cash at our office within 5 days from the date we are notified by the bank.  After 5 days there will be a Bounced Check Fee of $5 per day assessed each day until the check and all additional charges are received in cash at our office.  

 

OUT OF STATE CLIENTS: Out of state clients should transmit their deposits with their request for data packs.  They will be notified by Email or phone when the project is completed.  The project will be transmitted  or mailed when the check for all fees clears our bank.

 

DATA DROP OFF: There is a DROP BOX on the wall just outside the office door.  Clients can drop off data at any time.

 

DISCOUNTS:    We, also, give a $25 fee discount to our clients for each business client referred and a $15 fee discount for each personal client referred not  to exceed $100.

 

EXTENSIONS:  Your project data must be complete in our office before April 10th to be processed without an extension.  No exception for anyone!

DEPOSIT:  A nonrefundable deposit of $100 toward processing of a business tax return, <or> a consultation fee of $50 per hour, <or> a standing retainer for all.
